Detailed itinerary :

After breakfast Your guide will pick you up from your Riad/Hotel at 9 AM in an airconditioned vehicle for an enjoyable tour to the imperial city “Fes”. The first part of our tour is outside the Medina starting by wonderful Royal palace gate made of copper, marble and small pieces of zaalij (Mosaic).

Then, we visit the old jewish Quarter in Fes El Jadid that dates back to the seventeenth Century and charming Janan Sbil garden to benefit from fresh air. After that we will head to the most beautiful panoramic views from Merini tower where you can take some memorable pictures. We will move to visit an apprentice school of Fes pottery and mosaic.

After that we will start our walking tour into Fes El Bali (the old Medina) to visit the largest and biggest Tannery in Africa, where workers use just natural colors to produce high quality leather products. Then, we Visit some Islamic schools and universities starting by Al-Qarawiyyin University, the oldest, largest and the first Mosque built in Fes. It has a special prestige and incredible influence On Fes development.

Meanwhile, we move to other schools like Medersa Bouanania founded in AD 1351–56 by Sultan Abu Inan Faris that widely known as an excellent example of superb Marinid architecture and Medersa AlAttarine that created by Sultan Uthman II Abu Said. We guide you to visit a great and magnificent Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, Nejjarine Fondouk, with its geometrically decorated tiles and intricately carved cedar eaves overhead. Our tour will end at your Riad /Hotel around 5 PM .
