Upon your arrival at Casablanca airport, a member of our team will greet you. Before we leave Casablanca for Rabat, if time permits, we’ll visit the Hassan second Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Then we’ll leave for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we’ll explore the main historical sites including the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mausoleum of Mohamed five and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of incomplete mosque. Today you have a free day. You will leisurely explore Chefchaouen, which is a small city in the Rif mountains of Northern Morocco known for its climate and blue houses. Chefchaouen is a fascinating unique city which was founded in 1471 by Moorish and Jewish people. The town has an Andalusian character like the larger city of Tetouan near the coast. The houses are typically white washed in the tradition of those found all over Andalusia in southern Spain, with related architectural styles. This makes it a wonderful pedestrian Medina with beautiful homes tightly clustered along narrow winding lanes.

After breakfast at your Riad we’ll depart toward Volubilis where you will explore the large Roman ruins that date back to the second century. The next stop on our journey is Meknes, which was the capital during the seventeen century and one of the imperial cities of Morocco. You’ll see the famous gate of Bab Mansour, The Granary, The Square of Lehdim and Moulay Ismail mausoleum. After that we’ll head to our last destination. Overnight in Fes including bed and breakfast.

After breakfast at your Riad, our local guide will take you on a journey of exploration into the oldest Medina of Morocco that dates back to the eight century. You’ll explore the narrow winding cobbled streets of the Medina, where donkeys are the main mode of transportation. Your tour will include historical sites of the Medina, including the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest university in the world, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine fountains, the famous tanneries, as well as the King’s Palace, the Jewish quarter and the ceramics cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. The tour ends in late evening.

In the morning we’ll drive toward the Sahara desert, our first stop will be in Ifrane, known as Little Switzerland. Then we’ll continue through the Cedar Forest where, with luck you’ll see monkeys. Nextwe’ll head to Midelt where you can enjoy your lunch. Continuing the road through the Middle Atlas Mountains and observe the nomads that live there. We continue the drive through the scenic Ziz Valley that is surrounded with palm trees stopping at scenic views along the way. After that we will head to the final station Sahara desert. In the morning after breakfast, we will take you in an excursion through the golden dunes of Sahara desert where you can get the chance to see the black volcanic rocks, and meet a nomad family, see their nomadic lifestyle, share a cup of tea with them and see how they tailor authentic carpets. Lunch will be somewhere in Merzouga. Next we will go to Khamlia which is a village of the dark-skinned people where you can enjoy the original music and folk songs of the Gnaouas. In the afternoon you will have your camels waiting for you to take you to your luxury desert camp to spend the night of a lifetime in a luxurious tent under the light of thousands stars. In the morning, your camel guide will awaken you to enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the sand dunes. This experience is considered one of the trip’s highlights. After your breakfast in the middle ofthe Sahara dunes, you’ll ride your camels back to the village of Merzouga. Then we will start our journey driving to the Dades Valley via the Todghra Valley and Gorges where we will stop for pictures of the kasbahs built by jews. After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll drive to Marrakech via the Dades Valley again, with its dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs, and then on to the Rose Valley, known for its damask roses that are harvested in April. Continuing on our journey, we’ll head to Ouarzazate, known as African Hollywood, where you can see the Taourirt kasbah and tour the movie studios. We’ll then continue on to a UNESCO Heritage site, the Ait ben Haddou Ksar, the largest ksar in Morocco where movies like The Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and The Jewel of the Nile were filmed. Then we carry on to Marrakech through the Tichka Pass, one of the highest mountains in Morocco. Arriving in Marrakech by the afternoon. Overnight in Marrakech including bed and breakfast.

After breakfast at your Riad , our local guide will take you on a journey to explore Marrakech . By immersing yourself in the red city. Your tour will include the Bahia Palace, the Saadienne tombs, the koutoubia mosque, Jamaa el Fna Square, the Majorelle garden and Ben Youssef Medrasa. Walking through the souks, you’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of Marrakech. Today we will start our journey at 10 AM or until 2 PM as you prefer, driving about 4 hours then we reach the ancient port of Mogador, built by the Portuguese in a narrow peninsula with a huge sand crescent. Perfectly sheltered by stunning French-built walls of the eighteenth century, the city is largely pedestrian and is divided into various districts for design in grid form. From the top of Skala you can see the colorful fishing port and Spanish fortresses and guns. Today you have a free day to leisurely explore Essaouira by visiting the Skala Fortress and wandering through the alleys of the Medina and Enjoy fresh-caught grilled fish for lunch and a walk by the beach where you will see surfers enjoying their sport. Essaouira is also referred to as The “City of the Wind” it held an annual festival of “Gnouas music”, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world. Usually it starts in the second week of June.

Today we will leave Essaouira toward Casablanca “ the economy capital of Morocco “ via the coastal road while admiring the views and stopping for pictures whenever you want. We will pass by Safi, city of potters then to Oualidia where you can enjoy delicious seafood lunch in front of the beach. After lunch we will continue our journey to Casablanca passing by El Jadida which is an old Portuguese city. We will reach Casablanca by the evening.
